(Excuse the hot mess that I am. I had just had a wisdom tooth ripped from my head.)

Just as I arrived home from an awful, grueling dental appointment (more on that later) I received the most wonderful little surprise in the mail...

My Fall friendship Swap package!!!

It was divine and everything inside was like a big hug straight from the heart of my dear bloggy bff! Thank you so much Kristen for going above and beyond to make my day!

Inside I found...

A  beautiful handmade card
A perfect for M fabric flower pin (wore it last night btw!)
Handmade earrings (soooo adorable)
A cute little box full of homespun Thank You cards
Avon Apple lip balm (mmm!)
Some girly nail polish
And of course since she knows me so very very well A REESE'S BIG CUP!

It was perfect. Isn't she just the most creative dear? The pictures hardly do justice to the utter adorable-ness that was this package!

Receiving that package really made an unbearable day a lot more bear-able!

Sometimes I wish our life was very different.

self timer.

So, me and Miles were playing around with the self-timer setting on the camera the other day and now anytime I go to take his picture he points to the mantle and says "Table! Table!" He won't let me take a picture of him unless we use the self-timer! So funny! He loves to see the flashing green light and hear the beeping! My baby.

I thought this little tidbit would go perfectly with today's confession...

I LOVE HAVING MY PICTURE TAKEN!!!

I'm sure some people think I'm vain for feeling this way but those of you who know me understand that, sadly, the opposite couldn't be more true. But I don't know why I just love being in front of the camera! My inner DIVA  comes out!

A little confession really quick on this early early Thursday morning. (So, early in fact that I'm gonna call it wednesday.)

Ahem...

I REALLY REALLY wanted a nose ring for a while when Drew and I were in the band. LOL Thank you to my sweet sweet MIL for talking me out of it!

(Ah, these pictures bring a smile to my face! See my handsome hubby drumming his heart out? Hot. That was the best part of being in the band.)

Apparently I am too honest on the old blog here because I am having a hard time thinking of more confessions to share with you all... You already know all my dirty little secrets! :0)

Did you know...

I was in a TV commercial when I was a kid. Yep! I was a model for Stampede Western Wear in Savannah GA. (What you've never heard of it?)  I was all decked out in chaps and spurs and I was awesome!

I have it on VHS somewhere but alas somewhere is not online. So you'll just have to trust when I say it was just darlin'.

TMI alert... She has this stuffed Nemo that is her "boyfriend" she gets a little er...um... frisky with him like at least twice a day! HA!

Awe, poor Mable used to be so spoiled! Before the baby I took her everywhere. she had a wardrobe, we went on walks all the time... now not so much. Our relationship has been strained since the baby came but we're finding our rhythm again little by little. She really is a sweetie pie!
