blue.

I am absoluely over the moon with the news that there's a tiny bundle of baby BOY living inside me right now! As soon as I saw the little heart beating on the ultrasound yesterday I started crying. Then the tech said his heart, brain, kidneys, diaphram, everything looked perfect. More crying.  She measured his feet, exactly one inch long. More crying. Then we let Drew wager a guess to the gender and he could (just like with Miles) plainly see that it was a boy. More and more crying. I am so overwhelmed with joy and love for this baby boy already.

I guess the feelings are much stronger much earlier this time because I know exactly how much I care for this baby. I know how I feel about Miles and that I'll feel the exact same for this new little man. When we saw Miles' ultrasound I knew I wanted him and that he would always be mine but I had NO IDEA just how much he would fill my heart to overflowing everyday. I honestly have never loved anyone the way I love him. And I think that's how it's supposed to be.

I have to say once more that there is nothing greater in this world than being a mother. It is a blessing in every way. I am so grateful the Lord has trusted me with another of his choice young men to raise. Lord, please don't let me mess this up!

In honor of our bundle of boy I scrounged up some pretty blue photographs via google search. Enjoy the celebration of BLUE!

Annnndddd... Since I know you can't bear to be without a picture of the lil cutie pie, here ya go! 18 weeks and going strong!!!

Seriously, have you ever seen anything more perfectly beautiful? Me either.

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!

I want ALL girls. I am praying to see pink every ultrasound I get. And I'm sure I would be the same if I had all boys. I just really love the idea of them having a younger bro or younger sis. I love my relationship with my sis, we're close in age and we fought like cats all growing up. And now, Miles will have a baby brother to pick on and to love and to play with!! ahhhhhhhhhhh I love it. And seriously, 18 weeks???? GIRL, where is that belly???? You are so fabulous!

Congrats! Henry? I'm with Meagan on the sibling thing, just yesterday Cole was saying he needed a brother his age, they'll have so much fun!

Congratulations M! So, okay, maybe I should keep my day job, and not become a professional baby gender predictor :-). I'm sure you're thrilled for little Miles to have a "partner in crime" (and cuteness)! Two little boys will be so much fun! Hope you're having a great day my dear. I'm a bit jet-lagged (even though we didn't cross any time zones...does that still count?), and trying to play catch-up today. But really I just want to go take a nap :-) Catcha later, ~K

congrats marquesas! I love how you said you are honored that God has granted you this opp. to raise another one of his future men- What a wonderful way to view parenting! Very Well said!!

Life was a little hairy for the first month after we had Addison just due to the lack of sleep and me exclusively breast feeding but once we got into a routine (and I began pumping) life actually in some ways seems easier now than it did before. Surprisingly it is even more fulfilling as well. You will be a wonderful mom of 2!
