ramble.

It's been a nice long weekend here and I am happy to say we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lots of time spent with my two very favorite people on the planet and plenty of good food.

(My tiny cool guy. That's what he calls himself when he wears his Indian head dress.)

I don't know what it is about me but after a change in schedule or holiday like this I am always eager to get back to my normal daily routine. Even though my normal daily routine is very hard and sometimes makes me whiny... Creature of habit I suppose. Even after Miles was born I went back to work after only two weeks. When Drew went back, I went back 7am-6pm everyday. Luckily I had an amazing boss that allowed me to bring my babe to work with me. :0) I think I am just all too aware of what my brain will do to me if I have too much free time...

It's funny really, I am always so so ready for the breaks when they come but by the time they're over I feel the need for my steady, routine life. I work long days with lots of busy little people running around but it's my life and I am comfortable here. I only wish Drew could stay home with me everyday... Hmmm maybe if he quits his job and I take in like 10 more kids...

It actually would be nice if he could take time away from work while he's in school. But I honestly have no idea how we'd survive. I know lots of families that do it but I don't know how...they must know something I don't... Lemme in on the tricks sisters! :0)

(Miles enjoying Black Friday and me rockin the 22ish week baby bump)

Rambling, yes but husband has been on me for not blogging. He is my most faithful reader you know...though you wouldn't know it from the comments...he never comments :0). That's ok, I know he's out there lurking in cyber land. Love you hunnie.

(He did so well on Santa's lap but you can't tell from any of the pics...It is IMPOSSIBLE to get him to smile on command!)

Now, where was I? Oh, so we began putting up the Christmas decorations tonight and I didn't realize how sparse our collection is! It's a little sad really...Maybe I'll hit the post Christmas sales for some cheap decor for next year...

(I decided to make a tree out of our favorite memories and people.)

(It makes me smile.)

Off to enjoy the rest of this quiet evening with my hubby before the madness of another work week begins!

I love the picture tree too! I am totally implementing that into our decor! :) And don't worry, Danny NEVER comments on our blog either even though he checks it daily while he's working or at school. On that note....Danny and I sure love and miss you chica, and we think your little fam is just too cute! Do me a favor and send me your address to: stephaniefwhite@gmail.com so we can drop you a Christmas card this year! :)
