i think i can.

Last Saturday we canned. and canned. and canned. Hubbs and I loaded up with some good friends and hit the road to Jax for a can-a-thon. I gotta say, it was more work (and more fun) than i expected.

There were a gaggle of country folk there and it turned out that they were all most likely my kin. lol When your from Georgia pretty much everyones' your kin. It was a really good time, we canned like 7 families' orders... lots of canning...

Needless to say, Mr. Blimes and I feel a little better prepared to weather life's storms now... but there is still lots to gather in. Having a baby sure does put a whole new spin on emergency preparedness (like we actually care about it now).

All around the cannery there were quotes from the prophets about food storage. This one was especially poignant. (don't ya think?)

Hubbs hard at work. (so hot in a hair net)

These two kept us entertained all the live long day.

Spoils of a hard day's work. It was one of those days where you feel like you've really accomplished something.

And later that night I got to go see a GREAT movie with these two lovelies!!!

But the best part of the day BY FAR was getting home and seeing this...

I could literally stare at him all day.

You were in Jax?! Let me know next time that's gonna happend and maybe I can join you and your "lovelies" :) Also...I would just like to point out that I haven't seen a movie since Porter was born. Well, not including redbox. Jealous.

and WHY doesn't my blog update on your blog list?! Weird! It happens on lots of people's blog lists. Maybe I'm missing something.
