wednesday ramble {stricken}

The Blimes' are ill. The guys anyway. Well, now it's mostly just Miles but over the weekend all three of my sweetie pies came down with a gnarly stomach bug. And poor Miles is still barfing. It is sad sad sad. Yesterday he was chipper and playful but then this morning he started puking again. He is so sweet, he covers his mouth and runs for the bathroom trying hard not to make a mess all over the house. I have to tell ya, if I never clean up barf or pooh again it will be too soon.

Aside from Puke Fest 2011 things are coming along pretty well around here. I still don't have much time for blogging or commenting (sorry guys) I really don't even get online that much. I check fb from my phone pretty regularly but I still feel pretty disconnected from the world. Ah the newborn phase.

Oliver is an angel. So sweet and cuddly and SMILEY! He has taken a liking to sleeping in the bed with mom and dad...In fact so has the big. We begin the night with two in the bed and wake in the morning with four. Parenting. It really is awesome though, even if I haven't slept properly in almost 3 months.

Drew is plugging away at his MBA program making A after A after A. The man is smart people. It's a LOT of hard work for him but the is doing so well. I am always impressed with his capacity for school work. I hope I can be like him when I grow up and go back to school. :0)

And me... Well, I am in survival mode right now. My solace, Sunday services, is all but a nightmare currently so I am suffering from lack of spiritual feeding. I neeeeed my Relief Society fix. Every week I hope that things will go more smoothly, we'll manage to get out the door on time, the children will be agreeable...But most weeks it doesn't go well. Not well at all. I won't give up though. I know I am not alone in this battle. Mothers and fathers all over the world fight it every Sunday with me. Right? Well, if I'm wrong I don't want to know anyway.

In other news I am thiiiissss close to breaking back into the 130's.... C'mon Insanity work your magic! These workouts are KILLER. Like, I will be relieved to start P90X when we're done with this in 3 weeks. Seriously. But I am losing inches even though the scale isn't giving the exact results I'd hoped for. At least I am beginning to fit back into some of my clothes...

Ok, now for a blogger buddy comment-a-thon....  Kendal, I love your bangs. Kristen, your dress on Sunday was smokin' hot as usual. I think you are my new girl crush ;0). Freya, i looove that hair style. I will try it soon. Barbie, I can't believe our babes are 3 months old. It is insane. Lindy, do you have a new blog URL? Tanya, I feel like I haven't seen you in ages! Is your new place still in 1st ward? Did you and L find one together again? Jessica, I wish I could have gone to the reunion and chilled with you  and Tim. Your pics looked like so much fun! Lindley, Drew is in love with yall's new place. He says it's "really nice." Kim, seriously? You didn't have to buy any of your own diapers or wipes??? Don't tell me that beast!!! You are blessed blessed blessed :0) MA, it was amazing seeing you last week. I miss you. Shelley, when do you want to come have a burger? Katie, how's baby number 2 coming along? And the potty training? God bless you child. Lindsey, call me later. Karley, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I am so so so so happy for you and Evan! If it's a girl you have my permission to name her Marquesas. Just so ya know. Michelle, I wish yall lived in Tally. Or us in Hawaii. You are my new soul sister. Have you cut your hair off yet? Bahahahahahahhaha!!!! Meagan, have I mentioned lately that your style is so adorable? Olivia, let's get real, I'm gonna talk to you in like 5 minutes prolly. Love ya! And to all my fb pals, thanks for keeping me entertained as always! Everyone I am forgetting, I love you and miss you and have comments for you too I just have sleepless mommy brain...

All my love,
M
