Lovin' This Baby Bump!!!
38 weeks! Wow! It seems like it's gone by so fast! I swear it was yesterday Drew and I found out we were pregnant and now our baby is almost here!!! My mid-wife says to pack our hospital bags because she's not sure I'll make it to my next appointment... But I am NOT falling for that! I have seen and heard way too many pregnant women getting their hopes up for an early or, at least on-time delivery only to be completely frustrated and let down when they go past their due date... NOT THIS LADY!!!
At the very beginning of this pregnancy my MIL told me to go ahead and mentally change my due date to a week or two after the Dr.'s say that way I'm not so psychotically stir-crazy at the end... so I am convincing myself that baby will not be here until around New Years. And really I'm fine with that. I'd hate to make people work on their Christmas holidays... poor planning on our side I guess but hey, who knew it'd only take like 2 days to get pregnant?!?
So, many blessings and so much to look forward to right now! I'm still waiting for the "end of pregnancy misery" to set in... maybe I'm not really 38 weeks...? I don't feel miserable at all... just a little moody... and VERY thirsty all the time... what a strange pregnant lady I turned out to be... very lucky. very very lucky. I wonder if the luck will translate into an easy L&D and a perfectly blissful baby??? That's probably asking WAY too much for one gal. Either way, I am so grateful for these past few months and how well my body has adjusted to carrying this little person around!!!
Let's enjoy a little prego pic montage...
I was about 3 weeks pregnant in this one and had NO idea!!!
Just hitting 12 weeks!!!
The 20 week mark came during our Beach Trip!!!
The Womens 5K was right at the 24 week mark!!!

Halloween brought with it the 32 week mark... notice my chins starting to multiply???

25 extra lbs does not do good things for me but it is so worth it!!!
the answer to the puzzle is ...Birds of a feather flock together...
