tonight i just felt like thanking you for everything
for the way you made yesterday all better
today feel safe again
tomorrow full of hope
thank you for knowing me
for designing me to become just like you
for giving my spirit a body to grow in
thank you for blessing me with people to love
that love me
and want only my happiness
thank you for seeing me thru the dark times
when i fell into that deep black hole
and was all alone there
thank you for letting me stay in the dark deep for a while
even though i hated you for it
thank you for leaving me there just long enough to learn that i can
with you i can make it into the light again
everytime
no matter what
